For Siddhant Amonkar, sound has always been more than science—it’s emotion, memory, and magic.
“I don’t remember exactly how old I was, but music was always around me. I wanted to get the best possible output from sound systems.”
Growing up in a musically rich family, Siddhant was drawn to amplifiers, circuits, and sound experimentation. Over time, that curiosity turned into an obsession—one that led him to co-found Sygnus Technologies in 2016, alongside friends and fellow engineers.
Engineering the Future of Sound
With a degree in Industrial Automation and professional experience at Schneider Electric, Cipla, and Optel Vision, Siddhant had a strong foundation—but his heart was in acoustics. While still a student, he immersed himself in surround-sound research, speaker design, and custom-built systems.
“It took me three years to build my first home theatre,” he recalls. That DIY effort, encouraged by friend Nagarjuna, marked the real start of his entrepreneurial journey.
He later went on to pursue a post-graduate diploma in Acoustics Engineering, equipping himself with the scientific edge to transform ordinary rooms into acoustic sanctuaries.

“That project truly put us on the map,” Siddhant says with pride.
